The Passmores have Ohio and Pennsylvania blanketed on 2 November 2006...
On 2 November my daughter, Maureen, and I have Ohio and Pennsylvania blanketed with Passmore lectures.
Rose Baker and I will make a presentation, Applications of Stock Markets for Information in Instruction, in the Penn State Teaching and Learning with Technology Innovators Series. Today is Rose's first day in her new job as Program Manager of the new Workforce Assessment Center in Penn State's Office of Economic and Workforce Development. Congratulations to Rose!
Maureen (see "Books Journals, and More: A Closer Look at Maureen Passmore"), who works on the staff of the senior vice chancellor for the health sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, will conduct a poetry reading in Canton, Ohio, at The Enormous Room Reading Series on a campus of Kent State University. Maureen is the author of Stranger Truths, a Kent State University Press book. She is a winner of the 2004 Wick Chapbook Competition, and her poems have appeared in Sycamore Review and The Florida Review, among others. Today is Maureen's birthday. Happy birthday, dear.
I raise my cup of coffee to Rose and Maureen!
